Germany, Heer. A Gebirgsjäger Regiment 100 Crete Campaign Commemorative Medallion Hold when a "brick hit (this)(Gebirgsjger Regiment 100 Kreta Erinnerungsmedaille). Constructed of bronze, with double loops for suspension, the obverse with a sailing ship an inscription of KRETA, above a plaque inscribed 15. G. H. R. 100, the reverse with an edelweiss, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 36 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
