The wood grain is lovely and this bowl's got a great patina

It has definitely seen some use--the wood is well worn and it is missing a few bristles at the head and along one side

and I also found its exact twin selling online for $275

the game board features inlaid blonde wood for the "points" (the elongated triangles)

Straw Whisk Brush with Yellow Painted Wood Handle carved stamp Another beautiful boxAnother super satisfying old brush, this one I think c. 1930s, with a terrific yellow painted handle strung with a loop for hanging. The handle is perfectly worn and weathered, with some paint loss, lightening, and darkening here and there, and the straw bristles tightly wrapped (I believe by hand) with wire and in great shape. Super useful still for all sorts of things including just hanging on the wall! Of a nice size with a good weight: 8 1 2" long
