with light wear to the wood as documented

in excellent vintage condition (photos are shot through the glass of the frame

making the finish appear more matte than shiny--it does in fact have a nice shiny finish

Finely Incised Pair of Rusty Red Studio Pottery Serving Bowls pyrograph MA that included fine objectsI wish I knew the maker of these striking, very finely made bowls, but have not been able to decipher the signature or the mark that appears near to base on the side of one of them. My guess is that I'll find out after I've sold them that their maker is quite well known! I believe they were soda fired, yielding this wonderful warm rusty red color with mustard yellow highlights, and they feature very finely incised banded designs, distinct on each.
