By itself, it gives the camera a more positive grip and repositions the shutter release, which is nice for larger handed folks. The HLD 6P is a battery holder which attaches to the bottom of the 6G and provides a vertical shutter release and a pair of function buttons, plus room for a second BLN 1 battery (not included). In excellent condition, with all rubber caps.
