Folk Art Pyrographed Flying Pheasant on Fungus Conk cowboy so of course I scoopedI found a great fungus conk pyrographed with an owl a month or two ago by the same maker that signed this one, both of which I purchased from the same dealer. As with that one, I love how this flying game bird, a pheasant I would guess, looks rather as if it emerged from the fungus conk itself, always there, and as roughly rendered as the craggy back side of the conk.
