A bit of research reveals that the history of the Bowie knife is quite an elusive and contested one

featuring a wonderful interplay of patterns and textures

but I think it's a pretty good either way (I especially love the white steam coming out of the kettles) and a nice one to hang in the kitchen

and also a bit cartoon-y

Old Folk Art Dollhouse Chair with Bark and Painted Rose brass tray This one is certainly thatA great little chair I think, carved from one piece of wood with the bark left on it, and a faded painted rose and leaves on the back, I love it's silhouette, and the grain of the wood, with knot at the center of the seat. 5 5 8 t x 2 1 2 d x 2 7 8, very sturdy and sound and with a very nice patina, some loss to the painting as evident.
