Asarum rigescens var brachypodion Suzaku Botan Blephilia and darn near everything but(aka: Asarum rigescens 'Ise jishi) We are pleased to finally be able to share the rare Japanese double flowered wild ginger, Asarum rigescens var. brachypodion 'Suzaku Botan'. This rarely cultivated species hails from woodlands in central Japan. For us, they have formed lovely 4" tall x 1' wide, tight clumps of green arrow shaped leaves, with large ornate silver blotches. The tan lavender flowers, produced at ground level in January and February, are
